Marvin Sapp’s “Thank You for It All” scores a double domination atop Billboard‘s Hot Gospel Songs and Gospel Airplay charts, dated Oct. 31.

Sapp earns his fifth No. 1 on Gospel Airplay and fourth on the streaming-, airplay- and sales-based Hot Gospel Songs survey.

Sapp co-penned the track with Jarmone Davis, Christopher Thomas Leach and Aaron Lindsey.

“I feel like Christmas came early,” Sapp tells Billboard. “This season has been filled with uncertainty for so many of us, in so many ways. This song has been a centering force for me. It is great to know that it is helping others navigate these challenging times, as well. There is truly always a reason to thank God. I appreciate everyone who has supported this single.”

On Hot Gospel Songs, “Thank You” climbs 2-1, with 306,000 U.S. streams (and a nominal sales sum) in the week ending Oct. 22, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. It lifts 3-1 on Gospel Airplay, up 19% in plays in the airplay tracking week ending Oct. 25.

The song dethrones Kanye West’s “Follow God” atop Hot Gospel Songs after the latter’s 38-week reign beginning Nov. 9, 2019. Notably, this week marks the first time since the chart dated Feb. 9, 2019, that an act other than West or Kirk Franklin has ruled Hot Gospel Songs in a lead role. On the latter date, Franklin’s “Love Theory” began its 44-week command.
