If the calendar has anything to say about it, it ain’t fall yet and this week’s list of things to do in Philly cashes in on the last official week of summer with plenty of fun festivities.

Farms in Greater Philly are fully in harvest fest mode (and we’re not mad about it). Events like Fall Festival Weekends at Charlann Farms (through October 27, 2024) and Pumpkinland at Linvilla Orchards (through November 3, 2024) return in all their pumpkin-picking, cider-sipping, leaf-crunching glory.

On the heels of last week’s presidential debate in Philly — and leading up to America’s 250th birthday in 2026 — Visit Philadelphia celebrates the city as a hub of modern democracy with its second free TED Democracy Fireside Chat (Thursday).

National Hispanic Heritage Month kicks off in a big way this week with celebrations at iconic Philly attractions like the Philadelphia Museum of Art (Friday) and The Franklin Institute (Saturday).

Plus, it’s your last chance to score delicious deals during Center City District Restaurant Week and Dine Latino Restaurant Week (through Saturday).

Also happening this week: Philly Fashion Week (Wednesday through Sunday), the XPoNential Music Fest in Camden (Friday through Sunday), the 16th Annual South Street Oktoberfest (Saturday), the Philadelphia Polo Classic in Fairmount Park (Saturday) and the 29th Annual Mid-Autumn Festival in Chinatown (Saturday). Whew! So much going on!
