Welcome to that crispy, cozy liminal period between the peak of harvest season and the full swing of the holidays. Things are peaceful. Things are poetic. But that doesn’t mean that things aren’t exciting in the City of Brotherly Love.

Philly continues to honor the dedication and contributions of those who have served in the military with the Marine Corps 250th Anniversary Celebration and Veterans Day events.

Speaking of the holidays, Philly gets its first taste of Yuletide cheer, as the Holidays at Peddler’s Village, Winter in Dilworth Park and the Walnut Wonderland pop-up cocktail garden flick on the lights for the first time this season, joining other returning traditions like The National Dog Show at Oaks.

On the flip side of things, the region welcomes two brand-new attractions and events this week with the debuts of the nation’s first Netflix House and the inaugural Inquirer Food Fest.

Meanwhile, time is running out to experience the impressive history and legacy of Germantown at a discounted price using the Historic Germantown One Pass.
