Sunny days are here again, Philly (maybe). Regardless, no rain can dampen our spirits now that we’ve officially flipped the calendar to June, because by all accounts, it’s (un)officially summer!

Look no further than the bevy of beloved seasonal events returning this week. Several warm-weather only, beloved food and shopping street fests, like the Old City Eats Block Party and the Baltimore Avenue Dollar Stroll in West Philly are back.

Speaking of highly anticipated street festivals, ODUNDE, the nation’s largest Black & African cultural fest, celebrates its milestone 50th (!) anniversary with a full week of events across the city, culminating with the massive Odunde Street Festival on Sunday.

The Philadelphia Zoo continues the outdoor fun, transforming into a music festival/foodie dream thanks to The Bacon & Country Music Festival.

Meanwhile, multiple theatrical openings, including the revival of the Broadway hit The Wiz and the premiere of a delightfully Philly, sci-fi adventure Franklin’s Key, take us indoors for a spell.
