All schools within the School District of Philadelphia will be closed, Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 27, 2020.
The District is coordinating with the City’s Office of Children and Families, Parks & Recreation, and many other departments and nonprofit partners to provide meal service and activities in safe spaces throughout the city.

Essential personnel including a school police officer and other support staff will be on-site to distribute meals to students and families.

Parks and Recreation Sites
50 recreation centers will remain open from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. to provide meals to children 18 and under. Six older adult centers will also remain open. Click here to see the full list of recreation centers that will remain open.
