Ring, ring! Outside is calling, and asking for you. (Yes, you!) Between this week’s events, festivals, exhibitions and musicals, Philly’s giving you so many different reasons to strap on your shoes and hit the pavement.

The South 9th Street Italian Market returns with two days of city-sanctioned pole climbing and unbelievable culinary delights (Saturday and Sunday).

Plus, more food truck festivals and markets — like the Overbrook Night Market (Thursday), East Kensington Spring Fest (Friday) and Girard Avenue Street Fest (Saturday) — are popping up all over the place.

Big theater news: Broadway’s longest-running musical, Chicago, returns home for the first time in 17 years (Tuesday through Sunday).

There’s no end in sight for Greater Philadelphia’s big year of sports as the 108th PGA Championship comes to Aronimink Golf Club for a week of play (Monday through Sunday).

Otherwise, Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month is still going strong with a variety of events. Don’t miss the annual Asian Pacific American Heritage Festival, taking over the Southeast Asian Market in FDR Park (Saturday).

The city’s Jewish American Heritage Month celebrations also continue, with the first-ever Philly Jewish Music Festival, a whole day of musical programming highlighting the sounds of the Jewish Diaspora (Sunday).
