If your calendar’s not packed, it’s about to be. This week’s list of things to do in Philadelphia serves up another FOMO-inducing round of outdoor festivals, food happenings and live performances.
Manayunk Restaurant Week is back and better than ever (Monday through Sunday).
Things get fun and festive at the 20th annual Philly AIDS Thrift Block Party (Saturday) and the Mexican Independence Day Festival at Independence Blue Cross RiverRink (Sunday).
Art and music fill the air with events like the Philadelphia Fall Arts Fest at the Kimmel Center (Saturday), Mural Arts Fest 2025 at The Oval (Saturday), and the Breakaway Music Festival 2025 at Subaru Park (Friday & Saturday).
And several brand-new restaurants open their doors this week, including the chic South Philly raw bar Tesiny (now open), and Sao in East Passyunk — a new restaurant by Mawn’s Phila Lorn (opens Wednesday).
Plus, the massive Philadelphia Fringe Festival continues with a new lineup of cutting-edge performances (through September 2025).
